SMU community members reached out to residents of C.C. Young Senior Living on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013. They played bingo and socialized with the seniors during a “Day of Impact” coordinated with the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas.
The volunteers also presented SMU-themed game prizes ranging from sweatshirts to notebook covers provided by the Department of Human Resources, as well as other giveaways.
The University’s 2013 United Way campaign ended in November, but you can still make a tax-deductible gift for 2013 through Tuesday, Dec. 31.
